Reflection
Bringing together collaboration and technology can be a tricky feat, but in today's world it is a must. By facilitating and inspiring student learning and creativity though this standard these key points can be easily met.
Bringing together collaboration and technology can be a tricky feat, but in today's world it is a must. By facilitating and inspiring student learning and creativity though this standard these key points can be easily met.
Blogs - Having students create a blog and share information with their fellow classmates is a great way to promote creativity and collaboration. Students will have the time to create a blog space that is representative of them, additionally having the students post and reflect then respond to classmates encourages collaboration. The example I have provided shows just this. I created my site, posted required discussions and then responded to my group mates. This experience required me to try a new way of communicating with my classmates. Not only did I learn from them I taught myself many new skills.
Communication Tools Group Project - Group projects in an E learning environment is often difficult. Our group came together using Google Documents to create a project base on communication tools. Each group member was required to research a new tool and share the benefits and drawbacks of this tool. I was able to learn about new tools from my group.
Schoololgy Course - Ease of communication is important. For this assignment we created a course using Schoology software. We provided a space within this course for students to communicate, ask questions and complete group projects.

Future Learning Goals
My future learning goals include learning new ways to encourage creativity through technology. Something beyond your basic PowerPoint or Google Slide presentation. There are so many different ways to share information that gives students the freedom to create beyond the basic expectations. Collaboration it can go beyond basic discussion boards, I don't want to be afraid to use social media, or like my course work when creating blog sites.
